In September, we’re celebrating the 20th anniversary of our founding in 2006. During the past two decades, we’ve learned a lot about what professional hypnosis should look like, and as I transition into the third decade of my career, I’m going to focus on spreading this knowledge more widely.
So I’m announcing several free events in September, which will be held at our event space at 49 Elm Street (20 seats available) and simultaneously livestreamed online:
On Tuesday September 1, I’m giving a keynote speech called “20 Things I Learned in 20 Years of Hypnotherapy,” followed by light refreshments (6:30 to 9:30 p.m. ET). Most of the lessons I’ve learned are about human nature and how to live a happy life, so it won’t be a hypnosis-heavy talk.
On Thursday September 10 and Thursday September 24, I’m doing a live “Watch Me Work” demonstration of hypnosis with volunteers (6:30 to 8:30 p.m. ET). To ensure accurately representative demonstrations, I won’t know much about the volunteers in advance. If you would like me to hypnotize you publicly, please sign up through e-mail.
On Thursday September 17, I’m giving a talk called “How Hypnosis Worked for You” that’s meant for our clients and their friends and family, to demystify how hypnosis works (6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.). This talk reveals my current theories about hypnosis.
To join these free events, you can register your seat at Vagaro or find the livestreams on our YouTube channel.
Finally, for those who are interested in a much deeper dive into my style of hypnotism, I have a new training cohort starting on Sunday September 20 for hypnosis certification. This will be a 12-week paid workshop, and I’m offering a $1000 early-bird discount if you pay in full before August 31.
I’d love to see you at some of these events, in-person or online. Here’s to another 20 years!
